      These Terms govern your use of Remosidian, including the Remosidian mobile app, CLI host, private Obsidian plugin host, and website at https://remosidian.com.

      By installing, pairing, subscribing to, or otherwise using Remosidian, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Remosidian.

      Remosidian service

      Remosidian lets you pair a phone with a host running on your own computer so you can browse, search, edit supported content, capture notes, and ask AI about your Obsidian vault remotely.

      Remosidian is local-first. Your vault remains on the host machine you choose. You are responsible for choosing trusted network paths, protecting pairing codes, and backing up your vault.

      Private Obsidian plugin license

      Remosidian Host for Obsidian is a private desktop plugin distributed to licensed users. It is not listed in the Obsidian community plugin directory and is not distributed as an open-source community plugin.

      Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the private plugin for your personal or internal business use.

      You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, share, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass access controls for the private plugin, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

      Remosidian Pro subscription

      Remosidian may offer a free local-first remote access experience and paid Remosidian Pro features.

      Current Remosidian mobile subscription options may include:

      • Monthly: $2.99 per month
      • Yearly: $24.99 per year
      • Founder Yearly, if offered: $19.99 per year

      Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, promotions, and platform storefront. The final price is shown by Apple App Store billing or RevenueCat web checkout before purchase.

      Auto-renewal and cancellation

      Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel an iOS subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Android web subscriptions are managed through the customer portal shown in the app or the purchase confirmation flow.

      Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

      Refunds

      iOS refund requests are handled by Apple. Android web billing refund requests are handled through the web billing provider and support process.

      Third-party services

      Remosidian can use third-party services you choose or configure, including Cloudflare Tunnel, Tailscale or other network paths, RevenueCat, Apple App Store billing, AI providers, and local agent tools such as Claude or Codex.

      Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, security, content, or practices of third-party services.

      User content and backups

      You retain all rights to your notes, files, prompts, AI outputs, and other vault content. Remosidian does not claim ownership over your content.

      You are responsible for backing up your vault, reviewing AI outputs before relying on them, and deciding which vault content to expose to paired devices or AI tools.

      Acceptable use

      Do not use Remosidian to violate laws, infringe rights, abuse third-party services, compromise another system, or interfere with the security or availability of Remosidian, its website, or connected services.

      Privacy

      Your use of Remosidian is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

      Disclaimers

      Remosidian is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that Remosidian will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

      Limitation of liability

      To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of Remosidian. Our total liability for any claim related to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

      Changes

      We may update these Terms as Remosidian evolves. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Remosidian after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
